In depth

Verdict

DEDIGOUT won four of his five starts over hurdles last season, culminating in a victory in the Grade 1 Champion Novice Hurdle at The Festival here in April. He's already been placed in a point-to-point so fences shouldn't be a problem and he's likely to go off at shorts odds today. Knockgraffon King, placed in a Listed hurdle at Clonmel in February, is definitely one for the future but Beeverstown's record under Rules leaves a lot to be desired, though he has won between the flags. Mattara looks the pick of the remainder but they are unlikely to figure unless something befalls the market leaders.
