Verdict

JACK LUEY won this last year from 2lb lower and has been running well enough to give a good account again under Lewis Edmunds, whose claim can help him to another victory. Oriental Splendour has also won around here but is looking a couple of pounds high at present, a remark that also applies to One Boy. Metisian won at Doncaster on his handicap debut and made a bold bid to follow up off 6lb higher and though Vintage Dream was beaten a long way in that race on Town Moor he's improved subsequently from today's mark. David's Beauty has been beaten in lower grade in her recent races.
