Verdict

Bengali Spirit finished second in a three-runner race at Musselburgh on his debut but never threatened the winner. CAREY STREET was only sixth on his introduction in the Brocklesby at Doncaster last month but several winners have already come out of the race. John Quinn’s charge should be in the mix with normal progress and gets a speculative vote. Of the newcomers, Five Amarones and Minas Gerais hail from in-form yards and are preferred to Allen A Dale.
