        KENTUCKY BLUEGRASS defied a penalty to land a double in novice company on the Turf at Lingfield last month. There looks more to come now handicapping. Beltane will relish any cut in the ground after winning at Beverley and it was soft going when Devasboy went close at Chester last week. Hartswood made a winning reappearance at Thirsk while Vaccine finished in front of Ventura Rascal when runner-up over track and trip earlier in the season.
