        Verdict

        Luca Cumani won this last year and GALUPPI should repeat the process. The son of Galileo ran his best race to date on soft ground here in the spring and was having his first start for six months when finding a slow pace and Polytrack against him at Kempton. Shuriken did better than expected when runner-up in a four-runner race at Newmarket but was beaten six lengths when occupying the same position at Lingfield. Instant Karma has a smart pedigree and took a long time to get going at Kempton but was staying on at the finish and will have come on a bundle for the experience.
