        Verdict

        A weak race that lacks any strength-in-depth can go to Signora Panettiera, who makes the long journey from West Ilsley as the only representative on the card form Mick Channon's yard. The Berkshire-based handler, as breeder of Frambo, will have a good handle on at least that rival and any signs of market confidence about the Lord Of Men filly should not be ignored. Bretton is another that has solid claims on the best of his form and has been running as if worth another try over this trip of late. While Caesar is hard to predict but is better than his latest start would have you believe and he has a race of this nature well within him if he puts it all in today. However, he faces no easy task here and is probably best watched for now. Therefore, Signora Panettiera, as the best in at the weights, is taken to pay for the traveling expenses now that she has got the benefit of a run behind her already this season.
