Richard Whitaker's Captain Scooby is a consistent performer and should be thereabouts once more, while Tracey Waggott's Captain Royale has harshly gone up 10lb for his win at Ayr last time and looks to have too much to do now to follow up. Russian Spirit ran well at York last time but a 2lb rise despite finishing second may prevent her from going one better, while the Barry Hills-trained Evelyn May is another that has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper.
