Verdict

Spike was only beaten a short-head dropping back to 5f at Catterick last time and will be fancied to go one better here. He makes more appeal than the exposed Shine Likeadiamond but Richard Fahey's juveniles are always worth noting on this track and DACOITY looks a likely sort being by Dick Turpin out of a mare than won twice over the minimum. He gets the nod as the others will all need to improve if they are to win races.
