    Verdict

High Ridge will have to convincingly brush aside the challenges of the likes of Bundy and Smart Minister if he to is to have any chance of holding his own in something like the Stewards Cup at the end of this month. However, it would be dangerous to rule out a bold bid from Sewmuch Character, whose latest start was his best effort since a course and distance win last June. However, like the majority of the field, he has struggled to hold his form since then and does not look to be one to be relying on too heavily - even in this frustrating company. Therefore, it seems harsh to desert High Ridge as he builds up to his Goodwood assignment and he could simply be too good for the rest now that Milton Bradley has got to the bottom of him.
