        Verdict

        Freight Train needs to bounce back from a poor run at Brighton but would have strong claims on an earlier run at Goodwood. Normandy Knight was slowly away when attempting to follow up his Redcar win at Beverley. He's another for the short-list if getting away on level terms today. Stanley steps up a grade but was more like his old self last month at Goodwood and makes more appeal than Eurystheus and Lawyer on these terms. TRINITY STAR (NAP) gets the nod, however, as a return to his favourite track is likely to spark a revival and this is his time of year.
