In depth

Verdict

Harry George has been confined to Tapeta so far but there is likely to be plenty of interest in the Newcastle winner in a modest finale. The lightly-raced Turntable should go well on his first run for Chris Wall and Stronsay also has a squeak. Placebo Effect is back on the same mark as when victorious at Carlisle last August but a tentative vote goes to ANGEL’S WHISPER, who improved steadily throughout last season and got his head in front at Newmarket before placing at Epsom and Sandown.
