In depth

Verdict

Night Flight has, by and large, been running in much better races than this and his third in a Classified Stakes at Doncaster last time looks even better now that the second horse, Undeterred has gone on to reach the frame in the Stewards Cup. He has certainly plummeted to a winning mark, has won here before and holds Pips Song on recent running at York. Sir Sandrovitch, though capable on his day, needs everything to drop right and may not be suited by the ground here, particularly if there is any more rain. Bollin Edward hails from a yard bang in form, and the booking of Pat Eddery certainly catches the eye, but he does not appear to be all that well handicapped. John O Groats has been running quite well lately and although he hasn't run for a while handles any ground and could go well at a decent price. Storyteller is in good heart and should once again be thereabouts, while Superfrills landed a massive gamble at Haydock last time and should be noted in the betting exchanges.
