Adalkali can make a winning debut in handicap company although Tannoor and Meadaaf all hold solid form claims. Sir Michael Stoute's charge stayed on nicely behind a useful horse of Barry Hills in a recent Haydock maiden and the champion jockey could be on a well-handicapped horse tonight. Tannoor has a modest draw but responded well to a positive ride when scoring in an Ayr maiden. Meadaaf handles fast ground and quirky tracks well and should not be too far away if his recent efforts are to be believed. Alpine Special has been crying out for a step up in trip and should be capable of producing a solid run tonight. Mount Vettore has disappointed following a bright start to his three-year-old career. Adalkali looks well in and should take the beating.
