Verdict

Danot, representing last year's winning stable, has every chance in this latest renewal on his second to Roossey at Ayr in September when Geordie George finished fourth. Midlander made all in a Catterick maiden in the same month while Edgar Balthazar made a winning start at Hamilton, though that was in July. Terentum Star was quite highly tried last season and acquitted himself well but Polytrack specialist Little Palaver has gone up another 4lb since beaten at Kempton. Richard Fahey runs two and Johnny B Goode was consistent last year but GRANDAD'S WORLD (NAP) has more scope. He made a winning debut over 5f here and then ran well in a valuable sales race at Doncaster, despite still showing signs of inexperience. Jack Garritty's claim is a bonus in this.
