      Verdict

Kylkenny has a fine record at the course but Hugh Morrison's gelding gave the impression here last time that the handicapper may now have his measure and preference is for Gala Sunday, who is taken to reverse Catterick form with Hilltime. The last mentioned was winning for the first time on the flat when staying on strongly to land a similarly weak handicap at Catterick, with Gala Sunday the best part of three lengths back in third place. However, Mick Easterby's gelding will appreciate the drop back in trip to 1m2f today and on 5lb better terms can reverse Catterick running with Hilltime. Mark Brisbourne's Acuzio is a consistent performer and ran his usual good race when second to Wahchi over course and distance last week. George Moore's Apsara showed signs of a revival last time and is another to consider along with the well-handicapped Eton. Gala Sunday has dropped to a decent mark though and, back over his optimum trip, is taken to resume winning ways.
