Verdict

Pernickety will find this tougher than the race she won at Brighton last month and she was engaged at that track yesterday. MITTENS is preferred returning to action having won a maiden race at Lingfield in October and expected to improve for this longer trip. Celestation ended last season with a maiden win at Chester and Luna Mare was placed at Ayr in October while Melodic Motion was runner-up at Nottingham on a couple of occasions. But the latter's former stablemate Desert Way won over 1m2f before placing in a higher grade handicap than this in August and could figure debuting for new connections today.
