In depth

Verdict

Mr Fitzroy caused a real surprise on his return from a break over timber at Fontwell last month but is 5lb higher on his chasing debut and has never won outside of December and January. CITY SUPREME stays much further and also makes his chasing bow but he will have had plenty of schooling and was second off this mark here over hurdles last time so gets the vote. The nine-year-old Golan Dancer has never won a race of any description but Bagging Turf and Polkarenix have chasing experience and the former is a threat if fully recovered from a tired fall at Wincanton last month.
