In depth

Verdict

Though Lady Willa has been placed on faster ground, her only two victories have been on heavy going and she comes here at the end of a long campaign. Mark Gillard's filly is surely worth taking on here conceding weight all round, though she did finish ahead of Looks Like Slim in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham last month. Ben De Haan's charge had earlier been placed in decent company at Sandown and Doncaster but is more exposed than NOT IN THE CLOCK. The latter has been a little disappointing since finishing third to the useful Kumbeshwar at Sandown on debut but didn't appear to stay over further at Kempton last month and is given a final chance to open his account here.
