In depth

Verdict

Pardishar may be capable of bouncing back after a break, with Front Rank and Silistra others in with chances in a moderate finale. This should not take too much winning and if Pardishar is anywhere near fit, then Gary Moore's charge may be up to giving weight away all round. His second to Fast Mix here last season was as good as anything else on offer, and although he has failed to improve since making a winning debut at Sandown on the Flat three years ago, the ability is still there. Front Rank would have needed the outing when third on his return at Warwick so is entitled to respect, while Silistra, who is still a maiden, will benefit from the drop back in trip, having failed to last out at Fontwell just over a fortnight ago. Fireside Legend has it to do from a stone out of the handicap, so all in all, Pardishar is the percentage call.
