EQUILIBRIA can prove to be a popular winner for team Moore in the finale with Makai and Palace Walk two that could emerge as challengers. The selection has had a little break since finishing well beaten at Stratford in May but he has run well fresh in the past so his absence is of no concern. One of his three wins has been achieved at the track whilst ground and trip also suit and he has won from a mark just 2lbs lower. Gary Moore has a decent strike rate at this venue and Equilibra looks sure to have a say in the outcome. Palace Walk has a bit to prove having pulled up at Newton Abbot but the fitting of a visor may focus his mind on the job and the booking of Timmy Murphy is a positive. He was aboard when the gelding was last successful and has a decent strike rate when riding for Brendan Powell. Makai has never been one of life's most consistent performers but he has to be on the short-list in this contest having finished second in a Fontwell seller last time. A similar performance this afternoon could see him make the frame but that is far from guaranteed so we'll stick with Equilibria.
