Giorgio can make a winning start over fences, with Master T and Waterspray the two to give him most to do. Philip Hobbs's six-year-old is only lightly-raced and displayed battling qualities when beating subsequent scorer Galey River by a head at Worcester last month. He jumped very big that day so should have no problems with the bigger obstacles here, and although he would probably prefer a longer trip, can open his account under Richard Johnson. Master T was well held behind East Tycoon at Bangor but the experience will not be lost on him and he should also make his presence felt. On a line through Galey River, who beat him six lengths at Stratford, Waterspray is held by the selection, but the switch to fences may be the making of him and he is another to note. The rest make little appeal, and we will take Giorgio to take this on his chase debut.
