Verdict

This looks to rest between Uxizandre for the Alan King team and FUNNY STAR who represents Paul Nicholls. Both leading yards enjoy strong records at this venue and preference for the latter is only marginal. However, he does receive 7lb from his prime opponent and suggested that he was one for the future when only tiring late on behind Red Riverman at Aintree on his chasing debut. Uxizandre, a JP McManus purchase, survived a horrific mistake two out to score here on his chasing debut and is the most potent of dangers. He is built to be a chaser and did well to triumph last time after such a ghastly error. Hi Note was just touched off on her chasing debut by Le Reve at Huntingdon after the pair were left to battle it out following the last fence demise of Smad Place. She's a tough cookie who looks next best without having the class to handle the aforementioned pair.
