In depth

Verdict

Collodi ran his best race for Conor Dore after being purchased from a Fakenham seller when runner-up in a Warwick handicap last week and it wouldn't take much more to go one better and add to his dozen career victories. ERMYN'S EMERALD is 0-18 and has had his jumping problems though his last three runs have suggested his turn was imminent and this could be his day. The four-year-old Good Impression was beaten in a seller last time while Oscar Maguire makes his handicap debut after three poor runs in novice company.
