Verdict

WORK, denied a run at Fakenham yesterday, would probably have won at Ffos Las on her hurdling debut had she not unseated her rider. She was fancied to make amends at Doncaster next time but again made mistakes. She will get her act together sooner rather than later and is getting a very handy 24lb here from last month’s Fontwell winner Bastien. The Caller never figured in a hot maiden at Newbury last month but this is a lot less competitive and he had earlier finished third at Huntingdon. Not Never was rated 93 on the Flat and was placed over 1m6f so is an interesting recruit for Gary Moore.
