In depth

Verdict

Another small field goes to post for this staying handicap chase. Luke Warm is well in on his best form and he was a fair third last time out at Taunton. He is proven on the ground and this looks easier than the latest races he has been running in. Secret Drinker rates the main danger he is well in on his hurdles form but he has failed to progress as expected over fences and he has never won on ground this soft. Nickit had every chance when falling at Leicester last time out and if his confidence has not been effected he to would be a danger to all. The gelding from the Venetia Williams yard was a good second at Exeter behind Dead-Eyed Dick on his last completed start. Auburn Spirit and Time To Parlez are also well weighted on there best form but have failed to complete the course on there latest starts and are becoming expensive to follow.
