In depth

Verdict

MR MUDDLE, the only four-year-old here, looked progressive when landing a novice event at Folkestone in February and his two subsequent outings have been at Grade 2 and 3 level including behind What A Charm in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham. Providing those tough races haven't left their mark he should regain the winning thread. Fennis Ted hadn't shown much until a better effort behind Topolski at Newton Abbot and the subsequent exploits of the winner give the form a strong feel. Winning point-to-pointer Rebel High is making steady progress over timber but Mrs Peacock, a dual winner between the flags, has run poorly in her two starts over hurdles.
