In depth

Verdict

Vive Le Roi is tumbling down the weights and is nearly a stone lower than last November. He'll be dangerous if rediscovering his form but Bard Of Brittany is 17lb higher than when winning in March, though will be happier dropping in grade after an unplaced effort at Sandown. Story Of Friends sports a first-time tongue tie and visor returning from a break but Playa Blanca was better last time. However, STORM RISING (NAP) was going nicely when coming to grief in a hot Cheltenham handicap on his first start for 459 days last month and has every chance if that's blown away the cobwebs.
