Verdict

PARADISE EXPECTED goes un penalised for an easy win in a conditionals handicap and as a result has to be fancied to follow up with dangers represented by Funny Fellow and Tacinja. Tim Vaughan has made a habit of getting the best from previously disappointing runners and has worked the oracle on the selection with that easy victory arriving on just the filly's second start for the yard. The form from both starts for the Welsh trainer is also looking strong. Funny Fellow has hit some form since failing to complete twice at the end of last and the beginning of this year with a couple of decent efforts to claim some prize money. The line from the last time out third place reads well and with a one pound reprieve in his mark he should go well again. Tacinja looks to be on a slightly high rating after some decent runs over fences sandwiched between some failures. He has placed off this mark and should be respected. Sir Jimmy Strand was competitive in much better races over timber than this in the past and could be really well treated based on that form. Rated at 141 over hurdles he is a full 37lbs better off here. New Team has been running consistently of late with minimal success but is now 10lbs lower than his last victory, which came over timber, and to be respected but Paradaise Expected is expected to be paradise for punters.
