Verdict

The Newsman is more exposed than his main rivals in this small field and may find this on the sharp side while Hoh No has shown little over fences and is readily passed over. Inigo Jones has shown useful hurdling ability but may not appreciate the forecast good to firm going and lacks chasing experience so the TEAMtalk vote goes to Bold Hunter. The son of Polish Precedent came good on his seasonal reappearance at Bangor in May when a convincing winner of a similar event. The selection has been raised 9lb since but there should be further improvement to come and he looks the safest option with question marks over the remainder.
