Verdict

MICQUUS has got his act together over fences and bids for a hat-trick of course wins having scored over today’s trip before going in again over 2m4f. A conditional’s 5lb allowance reduces a hike in the weights and Seamus Mullins’ charge should confirm latest running with runner-up Champion Chase. Brother Bennett has not been at his best lately but won this off a higher mark last year while Lightentertainment won over 2m at Warwick in December and is preferred to the returning Howlongisafoot over today’s trip. Goonjim had just the one outing last year though won over these fences in 2017.
