In depth

Verdict

Medalla De Oro, four-times a winner on the Flat, made a successful debut over timber at Fakenham and has finished second in three subsequent starts while Cawthorne Lad is making his handicap debut on his first start for Jonjo O'Neill and could be well treated. Meteorite returns after a long break and is up 8lb for his victory at Sedgefield in March while The Twisler's recent victory at Fakenham came in a seller. Harefield hasn't quite kicked on from winning in this grade at Fontwell last October while ST GALLEN has twice been well beaten since landing a Southwell handicap in July. However, Olly Murphy's charge has had genuine excuses both times and is taken to bounce back.
