Verdict

Carribs Leap wasn't suited by the tight track at Fakenham in October but responded well to McCoy's urgings to get his head in front on the line. He should be better suited by this stiffer test of stamina but the champion has been claimed for Mister Hyde here. Jonjo O'Neill's six-year-old proved his stamina at Towcester in November and was probably biting off a little more than he could chew at Newbury last time. De Forgotten Man bounced back from a poor run to score at Towcester last month but may struggle to beat TIME FOR SPRING here off level weights. The latter stormed clear of his rivals over 2m6f at Ascot on only his third racecourse appearance and it will be a surprise if he hasn't more to offer in the months ahead.
