    Verdict

Southway Star landed the odds and a hat-trick over fences when scoring at Lingfield last week. She won by nine lengths so a further rise in the weights may not prevent her going in again back over hurdles. But GRAPE TREE FLAME went close in a more competitive contest over timber at Sedgefield recently and Peter Bowen's charge is just preferred. Cove never looked like catching the winner at Aintree last week but this looks easier while the remainder have some improving to do if they are to figure judged on recent form.
