In depth

Verdict

Dear Sire won over a similar trip at Bangor last month and was then third over 2m at Uttoxeter. Imperial Elysian continued where he’d left off at the start of the year by completing a hat-trick at Southwell and he shouldn’t be far away again. Following a pipe-opener, Bootlegger has claims on his win at Doncaster in January while Newtown Boy goes well fresh and reappears on a fair mark. NATIVE FIGHTER has risen through the ranks and Charlotte Jones has a good record on Jimmy Moffatt’s six-year-old who is getting plenty of weight from his rivals in testing going if taking his rider's claim into account.
