In depth

Verdict

ONTOPOFTHEWORLD (NAP) bounded clear of an in-form rival at Stratford earlier this month. The runner-up was a good second at Kelso last week and Peter Bowen’s Irish import can shrug off a 5lb rise. King Muro may be next best, despite a heavy beating last time at Hexham, as Mumgos Debut generally needs a softer surface and is having a first run since April. Lough Kent reverted to fences last time at Cartmel but finished tailed off so has a bit to prove now.
