Verdict

Having been a beaten favourite in three of his four starts under Rules, ROYAL VILLAGE has been a bit of a disappointment and whether shedding his maiden tag this late in the season will benefit him in the long term is debatable. But he has to be the one to beat in this as he’s achieved a rating of 122, which is much higher than Ramore Will and Caerleon Kate. Petiville was a fair second at Stratford and may be open to improvement but Coole Hall could have a brighter future have shown plenty of ability in point-to-points.
