Verdict

Curious Carlos was due to run over hurdles here yesterday and is better treated over the smaller obstacles. MARRACUDJA, like his stable, appears in good form and won off a higher mark at Musselburgh last year so gets the nod to give the weights away. Capitoul has a good strike-rate over fences but has had wind surgery since last seen in June of last year. Double W's and Eyes Of A Tiger both have even longer absences to overcome but, like Foxtail Hill, Ruth Jefferson’s charge is on a fair mark nowadays. Theflyingportrait can’t be ignored as he’s a dual course and distance winner, though was a long way behind the selection at Cheltenham.
