In depth

Verdict

Garnett is in form and may be hard to beat here so gets the vote ahead of Prince Adjal and Caesar's Palace. A comfortable winner at Fakenham on his chasing debut last time out, the selection has been in fine form since returning from injury and should go close today on ground that he enjoys. His mark of 98 looks attainable and back over these smaller obstacles, he could be hard to beat. Sea Cadet won well three weeks ago and can go well again, whilst Prince Adjal has put in two consistently good runs in a row and should go well, although he may need some help from the handicapper before he wins again. Political Sox is a course and distance winner so warrants respect, whilst the consistent Caesar's Palace has place claims at least. All in all a low key contest but Garnett is fancied to land the moderate spoils.
