Verdict

The three against the field will be Possextown, Ryminster and Music To My Ears with the vote going to the last named. Jonjo O'Neill has his team of horses in fine fettle at present and with a win under his belt at Stratford last time out in a competitive field his confidence will be at a premium. Connections feel at a penalty of seven pounds will be better than his reassessment so he is given the confident vote. Possextown is another in fine form at present and he will prove to be the selections main danger. Finishing second on each of his last two runs he does deserve credit. But he may find one too good again this time around. Ryminster has his first run of the season and will be fitter for the outing. He did run some fine races last year and did manage to get his head in front at Musselburgh but he needed his first couple of outings and that will be the case this year too. So for the winner we return to Music To My ears.
