Verdict

MORNING WITH IVAN beat The Compeller by seven lengths at Musselburgh in March and has gone on to complete the hat-trick with two victories here. The runner-up has also won here since and is 11lb better off but Susan Corbett’s mare continues to defy the handicapper and can win again. Golden Jeffrey should appreciate this drop in class and had a pipe-opener on the Flat recently while a return to 2m is a positive for Shankill Castle. Wot A Shot likes it here but Triolet has been out of sorts and Costa Percy also looks up against it.
