Verdict

Simber Hill can be given a good chance on last year's form, particularly as he has won on fast ground before. However, he fell at Taunton last time and has been far from convincing with his jumping lately so on balance is probably worth opposing. We do so with Nicky Richards' Bobayaro. Although he has a frustrating number of placed efforts to his name and is yet to record his first win over fences, he is a course winner over hurdles and is sure to appreciate these underfoot conditions. Of the remainder, Bay Magic chased home a smart sort in Another General at Ayr last time and is marginally preferred to Hexham wiiner Monty's Quest
