Verdict

RELAND is given another chance. Nigel Twiston-Davies' gelding was pulled up at Kempton in March but he has never run well over further than two miles. Now returned to this trip and freshened up by his seasonal break he is expected to perform with more credit. Cappagh scored over hurdles (for today's jockey) at Exeter when last seen and this strong-stayer should be suited by the long run-in here on his chasing bow, whilst Silver Palm remains capable of better but the handicapper has taken a dim view of his form and his mark looks high as a result. Kosta Brava had a confidence boosting hurdling win at Wetherby following an Ayr fall and he is respected, despite his Scottish form looking just average so far. Best Horse needs a market check and is considered more interesting than the rest.
