Verdict

Richard Johnson has ridden John Monash in his last four races but Gordon Elliott puts up 7lb claimer Darragh Meyer today to reduce his welter burden and the champion jockey switches to stablemate DOVE MOUNTAIN. The latter beat Mountain Kingdom here last month before finishing third at Tramore and looks the pick of the weights. Mirsaale is the potential fly in the ointment as he is rated 97 on the Flat and won over 2m in April. If he takes to jumping, he could outclass these.
