Seven Devils was strongly fancied for a novices' handicap here last night and would have a penalty in this if successful. Apache Pilot can't get much lower in the weights and should lay a part if in the mod but The Bishop needs to bounce back from a poor run at Hexham. SOLWAY SAM may be a teenager but he retains plenty of enthusiasm and is better handicapped over fences than hurdles nowadays. He has every chance on his third at Carlisle in March.
