Verdict

Jason Maguire's presence on board Fool's Wildcat suggests he's regarded as the pick of Gordon Elliott's trio but he's not exactly reliable and it would be no surprise if either Cottage Oak or Definite All Star won that particular battle. Now This Is It won at Cartmel on his penultimate start but was easily brushed aside by Pure Faith over 2m here last month. Khorun still has time on his side, but we'll take a chance on Karen McLintock's GOLDEN VIEW on his chasing debut. A winning pointer, his trainer clearly has no qualms about sending the six-year-old straight over fences after four runs in bumpers which resulted in three places and a win at Hexham last month.
