In depth

Verdict

Flash Crash and Solway Dandy were both placed in novice handicaps on their latest starts. MOMKINZAIN makes more appeal as he was beaten only three lengths when fifth over these hurdles last time and the runner-up has subsequently won. Lucinda Russell's charge scored twice at the track last year and gets the vote. Northern Acres won here on his latest start back in April but is 5lb higher today while Oxalido posted a better effort to finish second at Cartmel last time. Strobe made the frame here in July but has failed to figure in a couple of starts since.
