    Verdict

This may develop into a duel between BAHRIKATE and Mitcd. The latter has been in great form on the Flat and over hurdles lately but a 10lb rise for last month’s victory at Market Rasen looks harsh. Susan Corbett’s mare has been running well here off this mark recently and deserves a change of luck. Hey Listen had a subsequent winner behind when second here in April but that was on soft going and he didn’t fare as well next time at Hexham. Bell Of The Ball is a Downpatrick specialist and Sir Tommy is becoming increasingly hard to predict.
