In depth

Verdict

Its The Boss, Union Wood, and Sharpastrizam are three against the field in a wide open handicap and the tentative vote goes to the last named who is having his first run for Richard Guest. The selection remains well weighted on his best form and with conditions in his favour he could be the value in an open race. Its The Boss rates the main danger on his best form. He is from a very shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but he may just need the run after a 198 day absence and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Union Wood is another that could go well he is a stable mate of Its The Boss but he to has an absence to overcome. However it is interesting that Ruby Walsh is booked for the ride. Dingo Dancer was a good second behind Wuxi Venture last time having been taken on for the lead through out. If he is allowed an easy lead here he will be a danger to all off what looks a fair mark. Of the remainder Palitas is another from a shrewd yard but although he travels well in his races he finds little off the bridle and for the winner we return to Sharpastrizam.
