Princess Zoe continued her rise through the ranks with victory in the Group 1 Prix du Cadran over 2m4f here. The progressive Irish mare looks sure to make another bid but is conceding weight to the three-year-old VALIA today. The latter landed a Group 2 in heavy ground here with the minimum of fuss earlier this month and there looks plenty more to come over the distance. Subjectivist has won over 1m6f but never figured in the St Leger but today’s ground should suit Mark Johnston’s colt. Holdthasigreen could only manage third last year having won this in 2018 with Libello looking best of the rest.
