        Verdict

        Times Up should have come on for his recent reappearance at Newmarket. But last year's Doncaster Cup winner has to concede weight all round in this. Montclair has obvious claims as he won a Group 3 over track and trip last month. But he beat Terrubi by only a nose with the rest of today's rivals further behind with the exception of SOLOW. The latter has won his last three starts now and with further improvement expected stepping up in trip today, a chance is taken on Freddie Head's charge.
